Let me tell you a story:
	In the days before ADSL in Cotignac there was only one place with a fast internet connection, our house. All our friends and children used to come round to use the internet and soon we had 4 computers in the house all  connected to it. How was it so fast? Well, we have a satellite internet link on the roof, I needed it for work - and we had tons of unused bandwidth, up to 50 MBits/sec (25 times as fast as 2Mb ADSL and nearly 1000 times as fast as a dial-up) because it uses DVB, the same technology and bandwidth as Sky TV. As we were paying for it anyway, we set up a wireless network nearly 3 years ago, to share it around Cotignac with friends and visitors.... interested, then read on :) ..... then ADSL came to Cotignac, so we signed up and switched our satellite link off to save some money.... Well, at the risk of upsetting some people I can tell you that we now get about 3.5Mb/sec from our 16Mb/sec of links, and that is on a good day! So, we are going to turn our satellite back on, and connect it to the wireless network, which has now been upgraded to 54 Mb/sec! We will be continuing the FREE service, because it is very popular. But soon we will be offering some exciting new paid services.
